Many Inklings speak about The Metro, a place where you are forced to face trial after trial, only for your inevitable demise. Though some inklings rumor of a place worse than the Metro, A place where mutant horrors go to terrorize those who have sinned, with every day in The Depths being a near impossible trial that none have beaten.
These inklings also describe of a civilization for those on the path to redemption. A place that thrives despite its unfortunate circumstance. Are these rumors to be taken for truth, and does such a place truly exist? The only way to find out, though, is if one ventures Into The Depths.
(I don't own splatoon or Nintendo in any way, this is just some bumblefuck's fanfic on the internet.)

One of the few humans that was inserted into a cryo pod and went on to wake up on this new, new world. But he and the other humans were tasked to carry the legacy of humanity. He was "fished" out of the water by Capt. Cuttlefish and "Shell". Years later, he grew up to be the co-leader of Squidbeak Splatoon. But then the war came. He became a hero by saving Cuttlefish by being cornered and killed but he sacrificed himself for the win of the 2nd Great Turf War. Not too long after the war, he was dug up by the "CEO" of the F. A. O Agency. And became a valuable asset for them. Along with his new friend "Cross", they moved to the Plaza to live a normal life. But do they? Follow the adventures of Brooks and Cross. As they try their hardest to keep their identity secret. And will Brooks can finally stop reminiscing the past trauma? We won't know until we find out. Shall we start? It's been nine months since escaping the Deepsea Metro, defeating tar-tar, and saving Inkoplois things seemed to have finally calmed down for the team. Agent 8 now free is now living his new life on the surface, working, going on missions, and his favorite thing getting to spend time with 3. 3 is enjoying spending time with 8, but after going on a research mission in the Deepsea Metro she notices 8 acting strange. She found him mumbling to himself, he's having nightmares, being more claggy to 3 than normal, and swears that she caught a flash of teal in his eye. It couldn't be that bad... till 8 goes missing. The team is on the case to find him but sometime into the search Inklings sharing some of 3's similarities are getting attacked and 3's apartment gets ransacked. It's clear 8 is after 3 and if he finds her, he's not letting her go.

Dark,damp,and mysterious. The Deepsea Metro is a subway station of unknown origin. Its rails stretch through the unknown,but this story is not about it. This story focuses on two beings,one who is suppressed by society,the other is from another dimension. Edit of Feb 14, 2023 This book is DISCONTINUED. It was taken down around 2019? 2020 due to friends and family finding it. I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! Reader is female in this book! (Sorry to you guys...i might make a gender bend? Idk) THIS IS A STORY! YES A STORY!! Yaaay!~ Anyway uh Y/n = Your name Blah blah blah... Y/n isn't like most inklings. She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer? What happens when she wanders into both paths and ends up in deeper ink than she intended to? Read the book to find out duh.... XDComplete

It's been 4 years since Three saw Eight, and she's getting pretty depressed by that. The fact that the team just recovered from the "Fuzzy goo invasion", and being promoted to captain, isn't really helping much with the captain's personal problems. But when Eight seems to go missing, and there are reports of an invasion where she lives, Captain Three starts getting worried. DISCLAIMER: I have not played the latest splatoon game yet, so NO SPOILERS PLZ. Everything here that relates to the game is pure speculation from the trailer.
