After battling a Jinn with Sam and Cas, Dean wakes up and is greeted with an unfamiliar bedroom and Cas cooking pancakes. Oh no.
Dean doesn't want a domestic life with Cas. He's not in love with Cas. So why, of all situations the Jinn could have chosen, did it chose this? Oh, well. It just makes it easier to get out, anyways.
Or does he want to stay here? Dean has to find this out on his own; if he really is in love with Castiel, his best friend, if he wants to stay here, where he doesn't have to worry about the pain of the real world with monsters and death everywhere he looks, or if he wants to leave and stay in the real world, with the real Sam and Cas.
This may well be the hardest decision of Dean Winchester's life.

During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker. Dean throws himself down a hole, and Sam is becoming increasingly worried about about Dean so he seeks out help from from another angel to see if they know anything about the whereabouts of Castiel. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He never eats or sleeps but he doesn't he have to, he doesn't know why he doesn't eat and it doesn't bother him much cause it would just slow him down. He remembers nothing about Sam or Dean or even himself for that matter, but something is itching at the wall in the back of his head trying to break through, it wants to get out but can't. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. One day a pleasant memory comes through the cracks in his wall he can't place where it came from. The only thing he knows is he needs to find the man with the stunning green eyes. Cas is human and lives in the Bunker with Sam, Dean and Kevin. Sometimes they go hunting but it's mostly quiet in the supernatural world. After one particular hunt it gets hard for Dean to keep his feelings towards Castiel a secret any longer. But what will happen if Cas finds out what Dean really feels about him? This is my first Fanfiction and English is not my first language, so please be nice! . Dean could still hear it, even now that they had been back for a few weeks. He could see the horror on Cas' face, the panic. He could hear the pain in his voice, recalled how it had twisted and turned in the depths of his eyes and contorted his features.
