- A reimagining of 'The Phantom of the Opera' - A dark tale of eternal love, tragedy, and revenge set in a gothic, musical setting. The Paris Opera House has been restored after a freak accident. Little did the new owners anticipate that the phantom that had caused a reign of terror didn't perish in flames. In fact, she remains in her underground domain. When Julian Hearts, a young and aspiring tenor arrives at the Opera House; can't possibly expect the tragedy waiting to unfold. Weighed down with a sad past he chases a voice that has haunted his childhood. If he follows this voice, he might just lose his heart along the way with it. She is vicious and determined. Nothing will stop her from reaching her ultimate goal. Revenge. Even if it leaves a path of blood in her wake.

|| Book 1 of The Shadow's Melody || As a maid here at the new Opéra Populaire I can certainly sense something different. Something missing. It lacked him. The Opera Ghost who disappeared. I know I should let it go. I know I shouldn't constantly think about a dead man. A murderer. But I simply can't. I can't forget about that man I fell in love with those many years ago. I yearned to hear his angelic voice again. I begged for it. Hoped for it. Prayed for it. I called for him in my dreams. The man they called The Phantom of the Opera. I would never have guessed that my hopes and prayers would soon be answered.
