"Oh no," Adrien said as he realized the Akuma was only a few meters away from her and was getting closer by the second. 

Marinette, you have to stop the Akuma" Tikki cried to her chosen, though through all that Marinette didn't move.
Just as Adrien was about to transform and destroy the butterfly himself glad that Marinette didn't see him yet, something stopped him. Marinette caught the butterfly in her hand.

"Au revoir petit papillon," she said as she slowly opened her hand, and to Adrien's surprise, a white butterfly fluttered out.
