Emanuel's gift is a tale of a young boy named Emanuel Woods and his precarious walk through life with the help of a spirit named Cilan,  a Regnessem (messenger) who channels his life force into keeping Emanuel alive in order to preform certain task, cleansing dead peoples consciousness and unburdening the them of any baggage so they can cross over peacefully.

Though love, betrayal, family conflict and secrets litter the pathway Emanuel walks through whilst feeling his heart dying inside him, longing to rest within a white coffin with red roses upon it. Will Emanuel ever experience love and happiness or will he forever be shroud in the darkness of sorrow and depression?
