After misbehaving in his former school and at home, Draco Malfoy gets sent to a boarding school for "difficult" children in Englands country side - far away from any city. He thinks it's only temporarily but soon he has to find out that his family wanted to get rid of him. Right on his first day, Draco gets into trouble again and his punishment is the duty to look after a fragile and sickly black haired boy called Harry Potter. Draco is instantly annoyed by his task but when he meets the boy for the first time, Draco is just confused and overwhelmed by his feelings.

Healer Potter gets a new patient in his specialized ward at St. Mungo's. He can heal injuries that no one else can and it's clear from the start that this patient is broken. Injuries and abuse dating years. He knows that he can help him and he is surprised when he discovers Draco Malfoy is his patient for the next three months. Harry has to heal his injuries from an apparent suicide attempt, but soon he realizes that it's deeper than that. Draco is fresh out of Azkaban and Harry knows that the guards must have viciously tortured him, but Draco isn't talking. He's set up to stay in the Mental Health ward permanently if Harry doesn't heal him physically and mentally. At the same time, Harry isn't the righteous force of anger and courage that he once was. He quit the Aurors and suffers from extreme social anxiety, panic attacks and PTSD attacks, though it's not from war. Harry has to deal with his problems, too, but maybe not alone anymore. Trigger warning - there are discussions about sexual assaults, associated terminology and abuse. There are many panic attacks and some sleeping, eating and drinking disorders.
