Alysa's life had always been slow and peaceful, with days spent engrossed in painting and leisure. It seemed that nothing would change from her routine and she was glad for it despite the lingering emptiness that remained in her heart from her past and her wish for something more in her future.

But an unexpected, violent clash with a client on a very ordinary day changes everything. Waking up in a world much different from her own and in the place of another, she is faced with the challenge of fitting in a setting she knows nothing about. What's more, there is something magical about the world that she gets to experience firsthand much sooner than she expects, and on a personal level too.

While she accepts and settles into her new life and role, a chance meeting with a powerful stranger gets her tangled in something far more dangerous than what it seems. What begins as merely unbiased aid and affection for those with nowhere else to go soon blossoms into an irrevocable emotional connection of hearts. 

But it is never simple in the wake of a desperate struggle for freedom and brutal battles ahead.

That is, until you meet Edward Elric and his brother, Alphonse Elric. The two are fascinated yet understanding of your powers, and Ed is able to teach you some alchemy, though he won't tell you how he knows. Through many hardships with the Elric brothers, you begin to grow close to them, and even start to fall for Al, but he doesn't feel the same. Ed, though, falls for you, and you couldn't help but feel bad. You don't realize how you feel about him. That is, until Ed sacrifices the most important thing to him to be able to keep you by his side. ************ This story is based on the original FMA series after the Conqueror of Shamballa movie.
