Wei Ying begin to search for Wen Chao, he kill any Wen disciple on his way to search for Wen Chao to get his revenge. Wei Ying become a mysterious mask man, he doesn't want anyone know that he is Wei Ying courtesy Wei Wuxian. He help the cultivator from the shadow, he help them win the war against Wen Rouhan. Wei Ying won't let those clan know that it was him who helped them. This story will go farther into the end of the series, where Nie Mingjue won't die he was save by Wei Ying. This work is inspired by request from Olivia Hawkins: "A time travel fic after Guanyin Temple where WWX uses MXY's golden core to travel all the way back before he went to the Cloud Recesses and he takes this pill that prevents him from falling in love. Every time LWJ is near WWX, he has visions of the events that occurred later in the novel such as the Cloud Recesses burning, WWX giving his golden core to JC, WWX being thrown into burial mounds and WWX becoming the YP. He approaches WWX this time and hopes that he can protect him but is rejected constantly. So he summons most of the cultivation world to tell them about the visions he had seen."
