A Short Story.

After spotting a mermaid in the forest lake at the age of six, I dedicated every day to returning to the lake and searching for her again. 

My family has never believed me, and even though I return home disappointed each day, I have always believed in her. I know I'll find her one day. I won't give up until I do.
