After spotting a mermaid in the forest lake at the age of six, I dedicated every day to returning to the lake and searching for her again.
My family has never believed me, and even though I return home disappointed each day, I have always believed in her. I know I'll find her one day. I won't give up until I do.

I live with my aunt because my parents died, protecting me and the city. They were king and queen. That makes me the princess. I always hear they were great people. My aunt always told me I look just like my mom. It always brings a smile to my face. I got caught one day and couldn't get out. A girl found and saved me. Hi, my name is Bella, and I'm just the ordinary teenage girl. Um, WRONG! I'm a mermaid. Yeah, you read it right. A mermaid. I live off the coast of Hawaii where sailors come and go. Oh, and no, I'm not some creepy siren who drags men out to sea. I'm just a peaceful little mermaid. Anyways, one day while coming close to the shore, I saw a very attractive young boy surfing.
