Legends of vampires have existed for millennia; cultures such as Greek, Hebrew, Mesopotamian, and Roman had tales of demonic entities referred to as modern vampires.

The folklore for the creatures we know today as the vampire, originates almost exclusively from early 18th-century Southeastern Europe. Particularly Transylvania.

Mostly told as vampires being revenants of evil beings, witches, or created by malevolent spirits possessing corpses.

The mass hysteria created from such legends resulted in public executions of people believed to be vampires or witches.

To bad all those innocent people had to die, but their deaths were made useful. They worked as a smoke screen for our get away.

But that was long, long ago. Ancient history in ancient Europe. My brothers and I find America much more suitable anyhow and now days any human to believe in vampires is sociably unaccepted.

Which makes it much easier for my family and I to stay secret.
