(edit) I forgot to add that this started out as a confessional journal about becoming clean after a 10 year + addiction to OTC cold meds, but that was not my style of writing, I liked the material so I wanted to expand it into a novel length work featuring the journal elements. To say this work is a roller coaster would put it lightly. Although there are elements of time travel I would consider my sudden transitions reality travel. I use actual experience and dreams as a foundation, then toss in some fourth wall breaking narratives (meta-fiction), with a sprinkling of facts and quotations from songs and factual articles. It tends to be written similarly to an essay sans the boring. I have been influenced strongly by Vonnegut and W. S. Burroughs , and a wide variety of album rock, and that bleeds through. The tags dystopian and dark humor describe the whole piece best but there is a lot of genre jumping. I've done a good deal of research, not just for factual things but for the type of writing I do. Although not technically fan fiction, there is a nod to Final Fantasy games. The cover photo is a shared copyright, Brian Barbour took the photo, I added treatments.

Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. XX 《'Til Death Tears Me Apart, I Will Always Love You》is a very successful otome game. As much praise and admiration the game recieves, it is also, however, notorious for being absurdly difficult. One wrong step and the player would be drowning in an ocean of death flags, for both the Heroine and the Capture Targets. Anything short of perfection wouldn't even get the player a glimpse of a happy ending for the Capture Target the player chose. Enter me; Just a simple, normal girl reincarnated into a game as dangerous as that, as the villainess no less. Destined to die no matter what, I think there's no point in me trying to fight fate. If I'm going to die regardless, might as well die sooner rather than later. But that desire for death causes more than just a few changes to the definite plot; From little ones that have no effect at all, to life changing ones that may destroy the world of Arraxus. So the God of the world makes a deal with me: They'll give me a peaceful and happy afterlife, as long as I get a happy ending for myself. "Let the game begin!" -- Discontinued.
