Emelie is your average teen in some ways: Musical obsessed, into clothes and make-up, grumpy, moody
In other ways, not: Orphaned, Shy, Anxiety and social anxiety, Trust issues.

Emelie would love to do the normal things a teen does, but nope. She is unable to.

One day her life changes, she then gets gripped in a world she has always wanted to be in. She still has the trust issues and anxiety/social anxiety, but she feels less away from the crowd. She fits in.

Jodie Sizemore is a normal teenager--she lives in a nice house, goes to a good school, and has a group of loyal friends. However, there are a few inevitable obstacles that seem to prevent her from enjoying her life, also known as Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depression. Something that society commonly forgets is that not everyone who struggles with their health can be shown physically but rather mentally, and "The Beginning, Middle, But Not The End" unveils this stigma. It isn't until Jodie hits an all-time-low that she is able to climb out of the darkness of her mind and take her life back by the reigns. ***TRIGGER WARNING*** Please practice self-care if you are going to read this book. It contains themes of mental health such as depression, anorexia, and anxiety. Remember to always take care of yourself, physically and mentally.
