Baslo Fredricks isn't what people would call a "normal high-schooler". His brain doesn't work the same as normal people's. He doesn't speak, he can only make odd noises. He can't chew food well enough to not choke, and must be fed liquid everything. But his mind is full of wonderful things and so, so many thoughts.
Sadly, he only has one year left to live before the inevitable happens. But Baslo's gonna live it as best he can.

His beautiful, hazy blue eyes -that had turned straight quicksilver, again- were filled with such an intense, carnal desire I couldn't even look into them, so I looked over his shoulder. I saw a small group of kids from the group standing out by their cars who would easily be able to see what we were doing...or at least what Leo was doing to me.
