After her father suddenly passes away from cancer, Elena is thrust into a vicious cycle of drug addiction. Orange-tinted plastic bottles and NA key tags rule her melancholic world. But people don't like to talk about drug addiction - they sweep it under the rug like a mess they don't want to acknowledge let alone clean. Though it seems as if there's no light at the end of the tunnel, sometimes it takes a loving hand, or a few, to guide you towards it. A realistic story of heart-wrenching loss, political oppression, unconditional love, and hope in the darkest of times. Why is this rated mature? There are references to drug use, abuse, suicide, and vulgar language which may be sensitive topics to some readers. All Rights Reserved

•It was so beautiful, my life was so beautiful at this moment. I could hear the music playing below me in the distance and these ugly yellow tunnel lights around me really were so blindingly beautiful against the city scape in the distance and here I am crying but mostly, I was crying because I was suddenly very aware of the fact that it was me standing up in that tunnel with the wind over my face. Not caring if I fell or went flying. Not even thinking about it. Because I was standing in the tunnel. And I was really there. And that was enough to make me feel infinite. "We are all Infinite!" I yelled to my friends, myself and the whole world outside my body. To let them know they couldn't take away my teen spirit from me, to know that I was more than a single little girl in a small town in Cali, I was the entirety of the vast universe in a whole, I am Infinite. • ℘ ℘ ℘ Such a Fun Age follows Chloe's mind as she, along with her friends, go through their teenage experiences of sex, drugs, friendships, love, identity and trauma as they work against circumstances, and people, that defy their goals in life.
