Farewell, love.
No, I promise you no more hooks will tangle you for even a second more now.
No, I obviously want you to stay because I don't want God to witness the rivers I will cry when you will be no longer here to write me poems on my birthdays.
Yes, I am blind now, I know, but if you want to burn my kitchen down by cooking my favourite dish I will let you.
And I am sorry but your plants are dead by now for I didn't water them since Mother's Day.
Why?
'cause they refused to live in a world where you are no longer.
oh, and the mango pickle that you have had put under the sun to dry got drenched by the rain this afternoon.
Don't be mad, listen to me!
Listen!
And then answer me one thing;
Did I ever tell you that untying your burnt orange hair is better than getting to enjoy another 578 sunsets of my life?
And nan, did you know that you have always had my favourite shade of kindness in you?
No, please don't cry.
You know that only if I could drown myself in the unwanted water around your lungs just to watch you write poems once more, I would.
