In a world where people take every opportunity to escape that they can get, we find our main character being pulled into Wanderlust Wandering Circus, by the trapeze artist when he finds her after a failed attempt to end her life.
She follows the mysterious man back to the circus with nothing left to loose, only to slowly realize it is a trap and everyone who had let themselves enjoy being there has been trapped, some even for years.
Will the young woman also fall victim to this false sense of happiness, only preforming for others amusement? Or will she be the one to break the curse of the Sin Circus and set everyone free?
TW: Implications of attempted suicide.

What happens when one of the last freakshows comes to your town? Not only is it a grotesque event viewed for pleasure at a circus but one that harbors secrets and hidden evils behind the curtains. Scarlett didn't know what to think when she heard about the circus coming to her town; her town was small, rarely anything visited it. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now.
