He, along with his sister were kidnapped and a choice was given to the heroes. Save Izumi or him, a quirkless and abused boy whose name they did not know. In the end the choice was given to All Might who chose his baby girl. The villains than revealed 2 things, the boy was a distraught Izuku and the villain behind everything was All For One.
