Her father is at the last stage of cancer. He has very less time left. His last wish is to see his daughter getting settled with a perfect life partner. He decided to get his daughter engaged to the son of his childhood friend. Khushi accepts the proposal and so does Arnav. But he has one condition. Both of them will sign a two months engagement contract. Her fathers wish will get fulfilled and both of them don't have to be tied in this unwanted relationship.

Blinded by misunderstanding and anger, Arnav forces Khushi to marry him on the night of his brother and her sister's wedding. He makes it clear that they will be together for only six months and this whole thing is nothing but a contract to him - Neither will he ever accept her as his wife nor will she ever attain the status of his wife. They will be nothing but a pretense of a happily married couple. Then something happens. Something that shows Arnav that the truth is not always what we see but some times, it is something that we fail to perceive with the naked eye. And with that realization - heartbroken and guilty - Arnav sets on the path of redeeming everything he messed up. ___________ Author's note: This story has gone through a heavy editing. I was unsatisfied of the way I wrote the story - both the language and character development seemed weak to me. This is why, you can call this version the revised version of Daayre. While the main plot has remained the same, I have essentially changed few scenes completely. The characters, in my opinion, are now far more stronger and better. Sometimes your heart needs more time to accept what your mind already knows. This is the story of Aranv and Khushi who were only meant to be passengers on a short journey but when someone they both love more than anything comes in between them and change their journey, what choice do they have? Arnav, father of a 3-year-old girl finds the best nanny one could ask for. Khushi, a final year Child Phycology student finds the best job in the world. He is introverted when she is extrovert, He is short-tempered when she is soft-spoken, He is unreasonable when she is being reasonable, He is irrational when she is rational, He has a heart full of hatred and anger while she has a heart full of love and empathy He believes in revenge and she believes in forgiveness, He hates love and she loves love, But the common thing they both have is their affection for Arnav's 3-year-old Sifu. For Khushi, it was only a job. She loved kids, Sifu is an amazing kid and her handsome devil of a boss is hardly home so Khushi had nothing to fear. But what happens when Arnav starts to spend more time at home? Khushi knew she is attracted to her ruthless boss. For Arnav, she was a nanny for his baby girl.
