Sandspangled is an IceWing SandWing hybrid that (reluctantly) attends Jade Mountain with the recently added Emerald Winglet. Her life at Jade Mountain is, put simply, not the best. She's tired of always being whispered about in the halls or being bullied just because of what she looks like. Drawing and painting are her only escape.
However, her entire life is about to change.
Her world is flipped on its head when Sandspangled finds herself drugged and captured by scavengers. She finds out that the tiny furies have been imprisoning dragons and running tests and experiments on them. But why?
Follow Sandspangled on her adventure as she uncovers secrets, makes new friends in unexpected places, and solves mysteries no dragon has ever dreamed of before. Will she escape? Will she free everyone else, or will she just save herself? She better figure it out quick, for the clock is ticking. And she's running out of time.

This story takes place after the events of Darkness of Dragons but before the Lost Continent. Think of it as a book 10.5, if you will.

Illustrated story! Moonwatcher realizes that her choices, which affect her entire future, have not been what she wants and longs for. Where does she belong? Will she always be an outsider? She has no visions of the dangers that await her as she sets out to find answers. Winter has lost hope for the dragon he loves and focuses on his other passion; to scavengers. However, a surprising event leads him to face his past and gives a new direction to his life. Family has always been his worst fear, but he could not have imagined even in his nightmares the situations he will have to face on his journey. This story takes place about 3 years after book number 15. Contains characters and references to events from the three Wings of Fire book series, including the Dragonslayer. So if you haven't read the books, this story might spoil their plot. English is not my language, so you are more than welcome to report corrections in the comments or by email (kuunnousu1 @ gmail.com -remove the spaces). The original story, dragon tribes of Pyrrhia and Pantala, and the story characters are the property of Tui T. Sutherland. Also includes my own characters. I wanted to make the story "real", as faithful as possible to the world created by Tui Sutherland and the original stories. I hope you enjoy the story! Ice at Midnight: A Winterwatcher Fanfic by Cataclysm138
28 parts Complete
*COMPLETE* What would've happened if the Jade Winglet never got wrapped up with Darkstalker? If Sora had never tried to kill Icicle? If Winter had never gone looking for Hailstorm with his friends? What if they never got involved in the perils and dangers they faced in the WoF series, and instead the worst things they have to worry about are assignments, drama, and bullies? At least for most of them... Winter is an IceWing as harsh and narcissistic as they come, desperately trying to live up to his parents' expectations. Moonwatcher is a shy, scroll-loving NightWing who hates unfamiliar places. When these two dragons' worlds collide at Jade Mountain Academy, their initial hatred for one another soon blossoms into something more, something neither of them has ever experienced before. At first, things go well for both of them at the academy. However, they quickly learn that the world here can still be as unforgiving as it is outside of school. And when students start going missing, it becomes clear that there's something sinister going on... Together, along with five other friends, can they survive mountains of schoolwork, bullies, and drama that neither of them wanted to get involved in to begin with? Find out by reading Ice at Midnight: A Winterwatcher Fanfic! *Note: I DID NOT MAKE THIS COVER. Carni_Crimson did, huge shout-out for her art skills! If you ever need a cover with dragons on it, she's your go-to.*

In a land of dragons, it's weary to know that one day you can end up as food for those above, that any day a dragon can come down from the sky and decide your fate. Those who wish to survive have to be resourceful, especially when even your own kind will throw you out to be food for the wolves. When discovering a past that had been thought been long lost in the scorching, River may finally have a chance to fight back against the world, but even the most tragic consequences can be caused by good intentions. This is a wings of fire fan fiction and all rights belong to Tui Sutherland
