Greta Jaeger was born in the Shiganshina District into a loving family consisting of her father, mother, and older brother, Eren. Her childhood friend, Mikasa Ackerman came to live with her and her family after her parents were killed. She also became friends with Armin Arlert after sharing their love of books and learning.
