Sure his boyfriend was cheating on him with his best friend and the barista job he held didn't pay very well. And well, his apartment seemed to be falling apart more and more each day and his coursework seemed neverending but that's beside the point.

The point is that Louis was fine. Louis was going to finish up university, land a great job, and move far away from this city. It was a fine plan. 

However, the plan didn't account for a charming curly-haired boy with far too much confidence to stride into the cafe one night, determined on winning him over. The plan didn't include what to do when Curly wouldn't take no for an answer.
