Toxic marriage between Hajime and Tooru. This has been a little over 20 years. Neither is satisfied and, both are convinced that this marriage could be more pleasant if the other changed. Not completely just, a little. Abuse in marriage is not uncommon, rather normal and expected. There are a few rules Puella must follow, and if they do not follow them, the punishment is in place. The rules can be changed, and each relationship is set differently. Or rather, the dominant one sets them, and the other must agree with them, but one rule is always the same, "Don't talk unless you're asked to."
