Broken

The world might be sunny-side up today, but I wouldn't know. I haven't seen the outside world since I was 5. Neither has my twin-brother Brandon. We were found by the women who we call our mother. We don't remember that day but she never hesitates to remind us of what she has done for us. She likes to remind us whenever we fight back, but we learnt very quickly that arguing back is something you do not want to do with her. God she was terrifying when she was mad. I'm not the type to be scared of much considering the environment that I grew up in, but that woman had a way of making every hair on your body stand up. And all it took was one look. If looks could kill I would be 6 foot under by now. But what followed shortly after that look. Now that wasn't pretty.
