The Sightsear - MerMay 2021 Short Story

Taisha, a warrior mermaid, dreams about another realm.
"Neat spear."
"What do you mean you don't know what stars are?"
"Wanna know a secret?"
A consistent character in her dreams keeps appearing.
"Take this."
When the character gives Taisha a compass, and that compass is still with her when she wakes up, Taisha will have to question the reality of her dreams, and her lineage.
