Ateez. 

That's a name that would make anyone's heart drop in fear. 

Ateez are pirates that roam the seas. Taking what they wanted from whom ever they pleased. 

One day they made a mistake of trying to take a powerful hourglass from Ester. The hourglass would allow humans to cross from each dimension. 

Ester was the keeper of the seas in every dimension. She over saw everything that happened on the waters done by humans.

The day Ateez came to take the hourglass, she felt their ill intentions. All they wanted was to find the island of the Mist. The island that held the answers to all the seas across ever dimension. They wanted to gain as much power as possibly.

Ester would not stand for that. So she took the hourglass and split it into 8 pieces and scattered across 8 different dimensions. And then told the Pirate Kings, that if they wanted to live past a year as humans they must find the hourglass and reach the island of Hala Hala . The gate to hell. There Ester would wait to left the curse from them. And then they would be free to do as they please. 

Ester knew that no man could cross the dimensions, let alone find where the dimensions met. The only creatures that could cross those lines were demons, or angels...

One thing she did not bargain on was them finding Katerina... The only human alive to have angel blood in her veins...

so this is one of the first books I'm writing so it's probably not the best. But I feel like it gets better after chapter 5-6 maybe and then so on.
