A Pirates Life For Me?

On a fateful day, the mermaid went to war with Pirates, it was a bloodstained war that devastated both sides, Levi happened to be part of that war. The mers thought that their strongest had taken his final breath during the battle, he had severe wounds that would kill any mer within a matter of seconds, the pod all left the mermaids that did not make it drifting on the surface.

If they hadn't I marvel if there would ever be a story about their fate.

Levi had unexpectedly awoken, it was dark but mermaids can see in the dark so it wasn't an issue for him, Levi looked around and found his fellow people body's drifting away. He found that he couldn't move his tail, there was a harpoon in it rendering each motion painful.

Somehow these disastrous advents guided Levi to Erwin smith a well-known pirate that's stories have scattered around the world, what happens if Erwin discovers Levi's secret while they search for the legendary fountain of youth!?
