Unlike most kids, Katari, jim, Luke, jass, and wallie were raised to fight for humanity-who hates them- using.their abilities that no mere mortal could do, but when their caretaker, Stanley becomes tremendously ill, it is up to Katari and Luke to find an antidote before Stanley dies. Time is running out and as the two set out on their mission, Katari finds out mysteries of her blurry past that might change her aspect on everything.
