25 year old Hayden has a problem.
A few years back, she was accosted by an old woman on the bus asking her for talcum powder. Except it wasn't an old woman at all. Ask the bus-driver who still hears Hayden's screams every time he turns onto 8th Street.
Fortunately, Hayden has a means of fighting these monsters off, even if she has no idea how she's doing it. Now they pop up everywhere - in the store, in the shower, and in one unfortunate Uber driver's corolla. He didn't sign up for that shit.
Now they've followed her to Japan, where Hayden catches the attention of people who are actually paid money to exterminate monsters. Whether they are nuts or not, Hayden realizes they may be her best bet to figure out how to regain control over her life. One of these guys in particular - a white haired guy who apparently poses as a blind man during the day - has taken a particular interest. With few other options, Hayden has to trust him. However, there's something more to Hayden's cursed energy that he can't put his finger on...
