He wanted his family to engulf him in a hug like they used to when he was 11 and would wake up panicking from a nightmare. He wanted his dad to wrap his wings around him and his brothers and whisper how they would always have each other.
This was bittersweet irony really..
Tommy just wanted the last 2 years to be a nightmare. He wanted Wilbur back.. He wanted Wilby to climb out of the hole he had made from beneath New L'manburg and he desperately wanted him to run through the nether portal. He just wanted to tell Wilbur that he would always be his brother.. and he wanted to hear him tell him to stop or he'd cry.. To put it plain and simple he wanted his family to come save him so badly but everyone on the SMP was so adament on them not.
But if his family couldn't save him, he'd just save himself.. He couldn't afford to wait for Wilbur to come to him.. So instead.. He'd go to Wilbur.

He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. (I guess?? Basically if Tommy never betrayed Technoblade. Basically inspired by a lot of stories similar to this. Anyway here's the actual description below ⬇️) Exile. One of the worst things that happened to Tommy and believe me, loads of bad things has happened to him. But being stuck in a single place, far away from his friends and family and with a blob that has taken two of his canon lives and who may have plans of his own, has to be up there in Tommy's list of Worse Things that Has Happened to Me. So he ran away. Whether he snuck into Technoblade's house was intentional or not is honestly up in the air to debate. But when it came to it, Tommy had two choices. To stay with his supposed elder brother who is not dead or go back to the people who turned their backs on him. He picked the first choice. Now Tommy has to live with the fact that he and Tubbo may not be able to repair their friendship and that the country that he helped build is basically f*cked! But that is not the end of the story. Tommy lives with Technoblade after running away from Logstedshire. Techno as the big brother he is, decided to take Tommy in after finding out Tommy was living under his house in despair. Tommy constantly has hallucinations and nightmares of Dream. He cries and has panic attacs from time to time that are caused by things that trigger his bad memories(example: yelling and being alone). Altogether Tommy is super emotionally vulnerable. Philza and Ghostbur kind of live with Techno and Tommy too.
