Rory Moore always felt a little anxious when summer finally rolled around, it meant the start of The Epic. (A tradition between her and her two friends, Jade and Mave). A competition to see who could rack up the most points by the end of the summer.
The Epic had become their journal of memories, their memoire of summer champions. Which girl would hold the most points by the end of the summer? And which would get to keep that summers Epic?
It had been a tradition since their freshman year, summer 15, the summer that started it all.
As summer 20 finally rolls around, the summer of freedom and difference, Rory can tell it'sgoing to be different.
What she doesn't expect, is for her lifelong best friend to go missing. The Epic being the only thing she left behind.
