In the past, long ago, there was a time when, humans, hanyous and youkais lived together happily. There were no disputes, no discrimination, nothing. Everything was peaceful, everyone lived in a community of happiness.

But as the years passed, wars of succession started taking place. The Demons felt that they were more powerful than the poor inter-breeds (hanyous), and that they had the power to rule over the humans.

Things changed.

There were always wars between youkais, hanyous and humans like mikos (priestess) and monks (priest) who were destined to protect the humans and hanyous from the powerful wrath of the demons.

Years go by, Modern era comes.

The demons and half-demons still live (disguised as humans). The pride & discrimination still remains.....But still, happiness and peace among all races can be found if one tries their best to find it.

Friendship still remains. Love can overcome anything.

The story of Emiko, Keiko, Akiko, Makoto, Daichi, Haruo, Arata and Ryouta.
