Adaline's voice was void of the usual blankness it held most days; in fact, despite her words sounding so cruel and malice, it was the most emotion she had shown in weeks. "You can save the world, but me?" her lips turned upwards into a vicious smirk as shadows curled menacingly across her fingers. "I'll destroy it."
