Everyone knows what the lottery is, everyone understands what the lottery is, everyone spends their money on a piece of paper full of random numbers, waiting for the draw, fully knowing, and understanding that they have a higher chance of being struck by lightning, before being the lucky person to draw those lucky numbers. For those lucky people who do eventually win the lottery, their life changes overnight, forever.
This is how it was for Ms. Lillian Rose Kebble, a 23-year-old retail manager at a small independent clothing store. It all started on her way home from work, she stopped to gas up her car, and she noticed the jackpot and decided it was a good time to play her odds.
