Growing up is already complicated enough. Trying to navigate the world of heroes and ninjas is even harder. Now throw in a dash of angst, love and teenage hormones and you've got the mess Shika calls her life.
WARNING!!!: This is a bit of a slow burn and features toothachingly sweet fluff at times along with some teen sexual exploration and mentions of attempted suicide and death.
Please take note that the timelines in both the Naruto world and BNHA have been altered at certain points to fit the narrative.
I do own this story, but I don't own any of the characters other than my original character and her mother.
All Naruto and BNHA characters belong to Masashi Kishimoto and Kōhei Horikoshi respectively.

Finding Me (Todoroki x Reader)
"...You can't go through life on your own, just like a hero can't always save the day on their own. Sometimes, they need a bit of help from their friends..." I held out my hand again, but this time, I was more determined than before. More certain of what I was after. "So what do ya say, Todoroki," I said, "Do you wanna be friends?" ~~~~~~~~ You were a quirkless child with an impossible dream of becoming a hero. One day, your dream is given hope in the form of your very own Quirk. Now, attending UA High School in the Hero Course, you're on the road towards fulfilling your dream. However, surprising encounters and unimaginable trials are thrust into your life, and you will have to rely on the strength of your friends, and your own sheer will, to succeed. But one particular icy-hot bastard isn't so easy when it comes to your friendship. Will you melt the cold cage around his heart, or will you be burnt by his flames of hatred and resentment. This is your journey about becoming a hero, and finding yourself... Cold Embraces and Hot Kisses (Shouto Todoroki/Reader)
It's been about 6 years since you've left Japan because your father scored an official hero job in America. Now, thanks to your uncle, you are returning back to attend U.A, the most well-known, esteemed hero academy in the world. You met many new faces and some familiar ones. More importantly, your eyes met those heterochromatic eyes once again. Todoroki Shoto; the boy you spent your childhood with; the boy who brought you the most happiness; the boy that you once loved. Little did you know, you still felt the way you did in the past and so did he. He just has trouble showing it. (Originally posted on my Archive of Our Own)Complete
Bad Habits - (Shouto x OC)
MOST NOTABLE RANKINGS SO FAR: #1 in Todoroki #1 in Shoto #1 in mha #2 in Shouto Todoroki #1 in mhafanfic #12 in anime "Your job...is to make him likable." Amidst a world of superheroes, villains, and destruction, Shouto Todoroki's biggest challenge...is cracking a smile. The up and coming pro hero, Shouto, is good at many things. Knowing how to work the spotlight is definitely not one of them. In order to keep his job, he must learn quickly about what it means to be charming, cool, and kill people with kindness. No, Shouto...not literally 'kill.' Luckily, The Hero Commission knows just the intern to get the job done. After all, if Lani wants to keep her job, she'll make it work, right? Contains: Smut Angst. Shouto being himself Social awkwardness that will make you cringe but also fall in love. ***Everyone is over 18 years of age in this story. Shouto and the OC are both early 20s in this story.*** The cover art was done by Cyloiss on Instagram. This is a picture of Lani and Shouto. This art is not allowed to be reposted, edited, or used by anyone else.
