For a muggle born witch like Anastasia Jackson, the occasional slur of mudblood and looks of disgust are normal, they follow her around every day, all day, they have done for seven years.

But at night, when the hallways and secret passageways are cold and quiet, she finds refuge in the silence and comfort of the library and the mysterious blonde haired boy on the other side of the bookshelf, coming back night after night just to be in his presence.
