Raven Mayonaka is the sole survivor of the mysterious Mayonaka clan. He lives alone in a run-down apartment in New York after 'graduating' from a high school, that he honestly can't remember the name of. It isn't much, but it's enough for him; that said, he's so over the mundane everyday routine. If he got the chance to escape:he would.
One day, he meets a strange woman. Her pale blizzard blue eyes were as bizarre as her slit pupils-but that's not where the strangeness ends; she gives him an ominous warning. The second time they meet, she tells him the only way to keep himself alive is to follow her to an unknown world-filled with fantasy creatures and supernaturals.
The problem is, he's just an ordinary human! At least, that's what he keeps telling himself.
In the foreign land, he faces new challenges; monsters who want to eat him, kill him, bed him, and worst of all, examinations! Along the way, he learns that this new world, hides many secrets; one of which is the truth about his past-and he's determined to find them.
Well, his life certainly isn't mundane now.
