Post pandemic and penniless, Emily has spent the last three years gaining her undergraduate degree and supporting her deadbeat boyfriend while dreaming of better days. With her expenses threatening to swallow her whole, she accepts a temporary admin position at up and coming advertising agency, Perk!.
The job itself is dreary, but her colleagues are anything but.
They are 'developed'; humans once infected by the virus now with supernatural powers. Emily is fascinated by the Seers in Strategy, the mysterious new team in the agency who have developed future sight, wear all black and spend their days shut up in the boardroom.
When Emily bumps into Juan, the former intern, now Junior Seer Strategist, she believes all her dreams are answered. If she can coerce him to tell her a bit more about her future, maybe she can figure out a way to get ahead in this weird world after all.
