Vampires are ruthless and should be eradicated- that is the old way. However, in the modern world, tradition still finds its way around us.

Cordelia Greerson was raised to be a Keeper, one of the many humans who study the art of magic to protect humanity from Vampires and Witches. Her entire life has been devoted to the art of protecting the two split worlds. Making sure they never collide. To her, only one thing matters-

Order before blood.

After the Vampiric Queen is nearly assassinated, it becomes Delia's next mission to protect the Heir at all costs in the hills of Scotland. With thick blooded hatred, Delia must find out who is threatening the Prince all while keeping a close eye on him for the Keepers. 

However, soon conflict battles in her heart as she finds herself seeing the edge of the line of the Vampiric world- and the Prince's heart.

It's easy to kill a person in the movies or in a book because it's fiction. But actually suck the life out of a living being and it be her new reality, that's a whole different ballgame. Nadine Burns must now learn to face being a Newborn vampire in a world where there is no kindhearted feelings and sunshine and rainbows.
