Thaloria, it wasn't always a peaceful world. Years prior to our story, a horrible war took place. Led by the evil sorcerer Nocturnus and his horrible monsters, the Uden. The four major races Elves, Dwarves, Dragons, and Man - came together and forged a sword with the power to kill him. Once defeated, the world began a new era of harmony.
That was until the day King Thomas of Cila died suddenly. His son Prince Lysander was too young to ascend to the throne, so his uncle Allard became regent over Cila. His first command as regent was to banish all non-humans out of the Kingdom of Cila. Soldiers went door to door, removing anyone with magic in their bloods. They were banished deep within the Dandivark Forest.
As the time grows nearer for the prince to come of age. Darkness begins to thicken over the Kingdom of Cila. The fate of the kingdom and all of Thaloria will rest on the shoulders of the future king and the companions he meets along the way. Nihilos Draconum Chapter VII(Actual final book version. Updated)
These are a series of standalone chapters from my upcoming book, Nihilos Draconum: Rise of a Warrior. It is meant to be a preview of my writing style, and as a means of gaining interest in the book before it is published. As well as gaining a fan base beforehand. The first chapter starts off slow. It entails the life of one of the more important characters in the would be series, Sacreia Valen. It begins with her mother and a little history of the elves. It goes down to how Sacreia was conceived, and what was the result of her birth. Being a half dragon, Sacreia's life is more or less filled with loneliness. People fear and loathe her for the power that slumbers within her. The Red Dragon blood within her causes Sacreia to perform violent and murderous acts as she runs simply on instinct and emotion. Before long she is known as the Crimson Whirlwind by many. But is she truly evil? Or is it Humanity?
