OLD

This is the old version of my story that will be taken down soon, I have decieded to rewrite the story in a way I preferred, this is highly unlikely to continue. Priya leaves her home in Lunaris to pull off a daring heist on the neighboring island of Serenia, hoping to prove herself and earn the love she's longed for. After the death of her mother and her father's abandonment, she's always felt like the black sheep in her family, despite her aunt and uncle taking her in. However, the heist fails, and Priya is caught. Life in Serenia is far from a luxury. She's mistreated and hurt by the boys who rule the land. Everything changes when it's revealed that Priya is the long-lost sister of one of them, sending shockwaves through everyone. Her brother, overwhelmed with guilt, promises one thing: He won't let anyone hurt her again. For the first time, Priya believes a promise from a family member. She doesn't know how, but something in his eyes tells her he's telling the truth.
