It's been years since the incident. Michael is much older now. He lives in the mansion with his dad Ranboo. Every morning they go through the same steps. Michael helps his father remember things with memory exercises, but there's one thing he doesn't want to remember. One thing he wish he could forget.
This is a short story involving the morning routine of Michael and Ranboo years after Tubbo's death. Ranboo's memory problems got worse after Tubbo's death, so Michael has to help him.

Broken Mirror- Ranboo angst
Word Count: 11,000 Ranboo had been dealing with the voices in his head for a few months now, and it was getting harder and harder to hide the fact that he was slowly going mad from the mental torture Dream gave him. His friends weren't stupid, they clearly saw something wasn't right when he'd end streams abruptly, or start having a full on panic attack out of nowhere, muttering things to himself. They just didn't know what. "Care?" Tubbo's sleepy voice projected through her phone's small speakers. Her attention was then focused on why the boy was awake instead of the book in her hand. She'd read the book enough times to know exactly what it said and what was to come next anyway. "Why are you awake? It's five in the morning for you." Caroline asked, voice a hushed whisper as to not wake her parents and siblings. The hour had just bypassed midnight. She hadn't even noticed, being too engrossed in her book. "I had a rather frightening nightmare." The boy whispered, almost as if he were embarrassed. Her eyebrows furrowed in concern as her head cocked to the side. She slipped a small sticky note into her book as a bookmark and shut the book gently. "Wanna talk about it?" She asked, desperately wanting to hug her best friend and comb her fingers through his dark hair to calm him. "Not really, but could you talk to me about your book? Your voice seems to relax me." His voice was muffled by the pillow but not enough that she couldn't hear. She hummed in agreement with a small smile, pushing her book to the side. She walked to her bed and started explaining the details of her favorite book, Deathly Hollows. The boy had learned more about the books from the American girl than he had from the movies or than he ever would if he were to read them. He admired that about her. ---- Tubbo meets a girl through his best friend's girlfriend. She was absolutely lovely in every way. Beautiful, smart, kind, caring. Her knuckles hit gently against the wooden door. Her hair was soaked, clothes sticking to her uncomfortably. Her car was at her Uncle's seeing as she just ran from there. The door opened and there stood a very confused Ranboo. The pair hadn't talked in months, why now? "I didn't know where else to go." Asterin sobbed, the rain coming down harder with every passing minute. "Asterin, what's going on?" He asked, stepping outside, his hair immediately getting drenched. "He's gone again! I didn't even s-see him this time! Nobody told me! Nobody wanted to! He's gone and I didnt even get to say goodbye!" She screamed, throwing her hands around to prove her point. Ranboo gently grabbed her wrists. "Get off! Let go! You hurt me too! You ruined me!" She yelled, stopping the fighting she was doing and allowing Ranboo to hold her against his chest after a few moments. "You ruined me too, Asterin." "I ruined myself, Xavier." - Asterin and Ranboo haven't interacted in almost a year. First Ranboo, now Tommy? Tubbo was struggling as his last thread he was holding onto was his dearest son Michael. Tubbo goes to visit Tommy's house to remember happy memories with his best friend but instead gets invited to stay with Phil and Techno in the snow to help him cope with the loss of two. Tubbo agrees as him and Michael stay with the lonely duo in the snow. Troubles hit Tubbo as he struggles, but I can't tell you what happens, after all that'd be spoiling it! "Twelve and a half years now," Tommy said to himself. He looked at the silhouettes of the others. He could sense that they were all demoralized. No one could revive them now. "You're horrible," Schlatt said. "I'm just counting the days, man!" Tommy said. "What else am I supposed to do? Socialize with you maniacs?" Dream laughed, accidentally breaking character. "Yes. Yes, that is what is expected." "Shut up, Dream!" Tommy shouted, forcing Dream to become the hopeless murderer again. "You're in no place to talk! You caused this!" "You killed us!" Dream countered. "I-" A horrid pain spread from the centre of his torso. It was painful, but also really, really cold. Then it all went black.
