There are totally 2 different realms.
In one people live, protected from creatures (such as vampires, werewolves, dragons and many others) that live in the other realm.
Over time, people knew that there were these creatures somewhere, but they never saw them, knowing that they came into their world. But what people did not know was that in the realm of beasts was a law forbidding them to enter the world of people in their monstrous form but only in their human form.
Those who were caught transforming and revealing their true form in the human world were killed in their world by their king. This is only due to the fact that once transformed into the human world, they lose control of the beast in them and their human side is no longer present at the moment, thus reaching bloody situations.
As was Alexa's case, she was 13 years old when her parents and younger sister, 9-year-old Iza, were killed in cold blood by a monster, a soulless beast.
This incident left her with sequele and a lot of pain in her soul, she being disgusted and feeling only hatred towards these heartless killing creatures.

As the title of the book suggests, Alexa's soul mate is a dragon (Damian) who is also the king of all creatures.
I hope you like my story and if you find similarities with other stories that's just pure coincidence. This story is composed with own ideas and imagination. Plus I haven't read stories with dragons at all but only with vampires, werewolves or demons.
