After being found aimlessly wandering the backroads of Georgia, Jasmin Whittle is welcomed into a prison that shelters a small community of survivors; a place in which she slowly understands what it means to be cared about. Among those survivors is a certain gruff bowman with a tough exterior who stirs a plethora of deep and confusing emotions within her upon their numerous encounters.

And despite her efforts to push towards a hopeful future, her past continues to catch up with her, threatening to destroy the life she has built for herself.

But still, something for the pain would always help, and the boy with the pretty eyes seems like a good enough distraction.
