Millions of years ago two giant alien races were at war with each other... The Ultraman and the Angels.

The leaders of the two races found themselves on a primitive planet where they fought to the death and caused an explosion equal to the big bang later called "The second impact".

A few million years later, the human race found the corpses of the two leaders and caused a cataclysmic event that sent a signal to the others of their races.

With giant aliens on the way, humanity uses the technology from the alien corpses to allow a certain few to become Ultraman.

Now, these new Ultramen must defend the earth from the Aliens while dealing with school, voices in their head, and many other problems.
