Summary: The World Championship Series have begun. Follow Ash as he goes through a new stretch of his journey where he will have to uncover the mystery behind the newly formed Neo Team Rocket and how is newly met companion ties with them.
This is an AU in which Ash is not the same as the Ash we know from the anime. He hasn't traveled with his companions and he is mostly cold hearted. As such, he is more independent and significantly better at battling than he is in the anime. Furthermore, he essentially has the same Pokemon that he does in the anime. The only differences being that some of his Pokemon will be evolved, ie Gible will be a Garchomp in this story. This story is also a furthershipping story.
This is my first story so I apologize if it is cringe. Also, yeah the cover photo sucks LOL. Any and all criticism is appreciated.

Ash has defeated every evil organization except for team rocket, so he went back to Kanto only to find that this was a big mistake. Now he refuses to say anything about he saw back in Kanto. He doesn't want to relive that memory...and not being able to do anything. He fears that someday it will happen again, so he goes back to Kalos. But on moving to Kalos only slowed his fate. A what if I was in Pokemon fanfic. Once a upon a world, there was humans and creatures that are called "Pokemon". The humans and these so called "Pokemon" lived in harmony.. well, not exactly. There was an organization called "Team Rocket". Their evil boss, Giovanni wanted to use an army of Pokemon to take over the Kanto region. However, this plan of mind changed when he wanted to take over the Pokemon World due to having many powerful pokemons that he can use for his own gain. He theorized that there was a another universe that there was a world just like the world he was living in but different. He and all people was created by this world. He called this world, "Earth" and therefore it was called "The Reality". However, when he told this to everyone, they laughed at him for being stupid. Giovanni wanted to prove them wrong by forcing his workers to research about it to see if this so called "The Reality" is real. Few weeks later.. It was proven true and Giovanni was very proud about it. The workers told him that they'll send a portal to "The Reality" but however, it will lead to someone's bedroom but Giovanni doesn't care and wanted to experiment on the person when they go through it so he orders them to send the portal to "The Reality". Little bit did he know that this will change EVERYTHING and will regret it soon enough. I don't own Pokemons nor its characters from the franchise. I also don't own the pictures on some of the chapters and the picture in the cover was from Google but I edited it. I will have my OCs in here. This idea is inspired by @pokemon-fox120. WARNING! The Misfortune Champion
After Ash has been betrayed by his friends, family and Pokemon, he is left with nothing else, no money, no food, nothing. That's when he met Arceus, the God of all Pokemon, the God offered him something great, to show the traitors his wrath, but it comes with a price... Arceus grants Ash the ability to transformed into a black Pidgey, or, they better commonly known as "Crow". Crows cannot be captured by Pokeball, because it is said that however captures a Crow, would always brings bad luck to others and the owner. Ash becomes Arceus' informant, and he has to learn the hard way. He will now bring misfortune around the people he saw. Once he was done, he train with his newly captured Pokemon and removed his name, and gives himself the name known as Corvus Wulfram. He becomes the Champion of Kanto and when an Tournament is coming... Misfortune will bring toward the people that betrayed him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Basically, this Ash's character may look a lot like Qrow Branwen, but hey! Qrow is my favorite character, so Ash in this story will be like Qrow, he'll have red eyes, feather-like hair the same as Qrow's, wearing the exact same clothes but with different colors. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does.
