I was just an ordinary 17 year old girl living in the small cloudy town of Mendon Minnesota. Yeah I've gone through a lot my entire life and I've always believed in the supernatural world but I never believed I would be put in it. On the last day of summer I got new neighbors. The Cullens, well half of them. Dr. Cullen and the Hale twins moved in to the small house next to mine and the rest of their family were in the woods building a new house to fit all of their family. I went over to greet them and that's when I met him, the most handsome extraordinary guy I've ever laid my eyes on...Jasper Hale.

My older sister, Bella, and I had to move from Phoenix to a small town in Washington called Forks. It was a pretty big change for me but even bigger for Bella. Everything was going pretty well, until Charlie makes me go with Bella to the Cullen's, for her birthday, and Jasper tries to kill her. Since then I know everything about them. After Edward leaves Bella and she becomes broken, Charlie prefers that I go with her to most places. That also includes when she went to check if Jacob was ok after he ignored her, and he turns into a wolf. After everything goes back to normal for Bella, (meaning Edward comes back) dad still likes having me around her. So, he makes me go with her when Bella goes with Jacob, to sit around a campfire and talk about their "history." But at that same time is when it happens, when I meet the youngest one of the tribe, Seth Clearwater. He imprints on me. And my whole life changed because of all of it. I went from the sporty, loud girl who tried to stay away from Bella's weirdness, to being one of the tribe. All is peaceful, quiet despite the minor disputes. However the newest Scottish visitors have a long history that they plan on bringing to town. --- "They don't like the idea of new vampires in New Orleans." He reports shamefully, holding his head downwards. The butler seemed as though fearing for his life. I hold the lavender ball gown up to my chest, looking at myself in the floor length mirror. "On the contrary, dear Joseph," I pause, listening as my sweet Scottish accented voice floats around the room in tranquility. I turn to him, my ice eyes resting on him. "We are very, very old vampires." I drop the dress, and the butler looks up in fear. My movements are as fast as a striking snake, tearing out his throat in such a swift movement there's barely any mess. I look into his eyes as he raises his hands to his neck, falling to the ground in a light thump. I walk back and pick up the lavender dress, admiring my smiling reflection in the mirror as the tragically human butler bleeds out onto the expensive Russian rug. --- Some plot lines and moments of the Originals has been altered for this story.
