okay here we go again
For the second time I am trying to write a story that I've been working on for years now.
Monsters Among Us is a story taking place in the near future in an apocalyptic world that's been taken over by hundreds of thousands of beasts created through genetic engineering by a government program called Warbound that created experimental weapons for war. These creatures were part of an experiment to create monsters that could fight in place of humans. This backfired and resulted in the creatures, which were pieced together from other animals specifically to destroy humans, taking ovee most of the world.
The story is in the point of view of a young man named Jasper who was born to a small group of humanoid sentient beasts called bluesas, which are humans with catlike traits (such as fur) and heightened senses for fighting in the dark and hard to navigate environments. More about this will be explained later, as will all the information about the various creatures that roam the Earth. For now, sit back and enjoy this badly written story that I've spent way too much time on already :)

His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."

This is my take on those stories that have only one human male on a planet full of anthros. You know the ones, where a nuke, virus, or/and war that destroyed the human race except for one and for some unexplain reason ten years later furries rule the earth with a fully functioning government and technology. Oh, and sometimes this human has all the powers of comics and mange for also unexplained reason or another. With every character is spelled out on these bio picks before you even read the story, ruining any suspension or mystery the story could have. Sorry, went on a little rant but I have a hard time reading those kinds of stories, so I decided to make my own. So the actual story; A human crash landed onto a alien world where the dominant species are ten feet tall female wolves. Now he have to survive this warrior world that seeks to use him or destroy him, but under his meek facade is something much more then any one could imagine. Hope you enjoy.
