Kylie wasn't exactly what you would call popular growing up. She had a braid, glasses and eventually braces and that made her a target for the popular kids. With her best friend Ryder by her side though, she was safe. He was her hero and they had been that way since they were in daycare together. They did almost everything and anything together all the time because they were so close. One day though Ryder ends up leaving, too bad its on Kylie's 9th birthday when she wants to tell him something that's very important to her. So she grows up more and moves on with her life, but what happens when Ryder falls back into Kylie's life? When she and him both say they have changed a lot and they realize they are both still the same people just older, will Kylie hold a grudge forever? Why did he leave? Where has he been all these years? Most of all will they be best friends, strangers, or lovers? (unedited please excuse mistakes)
