Tess and Blake were best friends. Then he left her out of nowhere. Four months later he comes back wanting to be friends again. He doesn't realize it until later but him coming back saved her from herself.
Tess can't go a day without thinking of Blake. She hates that he's always on her mind. I mean he left her. Four months later she goes to church after avoiding people for months...while she's there she sees Blake.
(Be aware the people in this book do go to youth group because that is how they met but this book is NOT focused on religion. It is mainly focused on the growth of their friendship.)
