Cher has a past with this blond preppy boy from school. His parents and he are very wealthy and friends with Cher parents. For them, they are "the perfect match". Cher and him, have this kind of relationship in where both are opposites and tease each other all the time, but when they remember the good days, there's always some feelings that never go away.

Even though their emotions don't fade, Cher meets another boy, a total and completely different guy, who the opposite of the preppy kids Cher is used to. This boy comes from the working class, and doesn't have the manners or the standards for the Mikaelsons family. (Cher's family)

He climbs her window each night and shows her another perspective of life, what it is to actually live and be free. A world that involves car rides, the beach, surf shops, watching movies on the road, backpacking through streets and markets, sneaking in clubs and other adventures.

Everything was going well, until something tragic happens and gossip spreads around Cher's world, making her take a decision she never thought she would agree on.
